OnePlus has launched OnePlus Green Line Worry-Free Solution to address industry concerns regarding green lines on AMOLED displays found in smartphones in India.
This new solution aims to reassure users through advanced display technology, stringent quality control, and an extended service policy of a lifetime warranty.
Advanced Display Technology
OnePlus has partnered with industry leaders to develop an Enhanced Edge Bonding Layer using advanced PVX materials. This layer acts as a barrier against moisture and oxygen, significantly reducing the likelihood of green lines appearing on AMOLED displays.
This technology is now standard across all OnePlus AMOLED displays, minimizing green line occurrences even in challenging environments like India’s heat and humidity.
Rigorous Quality Control
OnePlus employs stringent quality control measures, including over 180 tests that simulate extreme real-world conditions.
The “Double 85” test subjects displays to 85°C temperatures and 85% humidity, ensuring durability and performance under stress. OnePlus has diversified its testing scenarios to address the multiple factors that can contribute to green line issues.
