Gemini now includes a “saved info” feature, allowing users to receive more personalized responses. Expanded App Integration
Gemini’s functionality is now available across more apps. Users can ask Gemini to make calls, send messages, set alarms, adjust device settings, and even take selfies.
The update also integrates with more services, including Spotify for music and smart home devices linked to your Google Account. Additionally, Gemini now supports more languages.
Smarter Call Screening
Contextual Call Responses
Gemini Nano on Pixel devices now offers smart, easy-to-tap responses during call screening. Users can answer or respond to unknown calls with pre-set messages, helping to manage situations like package deliveries more efficiently.
Live Transcripts
The update now allows users to view live transcripts of conversations during call screening, making it easier to decide whether to answer the call.
New Camera and Sharing Features
Enhanced Sharing
Users can now share Ultra HDR photos directly to Instagram, capturing bright, high-contrast images with more detail. Sharing photos and videos on Snapchat is also simplified, as users can access all their media folders directly from the Photo Picker.
Dual Screen and “Made You Look” Updates
For Pixel Fold and Pixel 9 Pro Fold users, the Dual Screen in Portrait Mode now offers better photo previews.
The “Made You Look” feature is now available for the first-generation Pixel Fold, adding fun animations to grab attention. Pixel 9 Pro Fold users will also see the addition of “Joy” from Disney’s Inside Out for added fun.

Pixel Watch 2 users can now view live video from their Nest Cam or Doorbell. The “Loss of Pulse” feature for emergency situations has been expanded to users in Germany and Portugal, along with other new health and safety tools for Pixel Watch users.

Starting December 9, the Daily Readiness algorithm and new metrics, including Cardio Load and Target Load, will be available on Pixel Watches and Fitbit devices. These features help users manage their exercise and recovery for optimal fitness.
