vivo has introduced Y300, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘Y series’ in China, as it had promised. It packs a 6.77-inch 120Hz flat AMOLED display, with up to 1800 nits peak brightness and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming (when developer mode is turned on, default 2160Hz), and Diamond Shield glass.
It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. The main highlight of the phone is its new generation of rear speaker (AAC 1326D speakers, AAC 1116B lower speakers, Goertek 0809 upper speakers, and a three-speaker matrix with a peak power of 4.5W) that is 600% louder compared to standard phones, says the company. There is also 3D panoramic audio.
It 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor, and a 8MP front camera. The phone comes in Green Pine, Snow White and Star Diamond Black colours, and is just 7.79mm thin. The phone packs a 6500mAh battery with energy density of 776Wh/L, and has 44W fast charging. There is IP64 ratings for dust and splash resistance and SGS five-star drop and fall certification.
