MSI today announced the start of its India production by establishing its first manufacturing facility in Chennai, a key technology hub in the country. Aligned with the “Make in India” initiative, the company will produce Indian-made versions of its popular laptop models, the MSI Modern 14 and MSI Thin 15.
Expanding Reach in India
This development marks a significant milestone in MSI’s 20-year presence in India. The Chennai facility will manufacture these laptops, combining global innovation with local expertise, according to the company.

To enhance product availability, MSI is expanding its distribution network through more Laptop Brand Stores and partnerships with Croma and Reliance Retail.
