LG Electronics has unveiled its 2025 QNED evo TV lineup, featuring advanced display technology, wireless 4K 144Hz image transmission, AI-powered picture and sound enhancement, and personalized customer experiences through webOS 25.
Key Features of the 2025 QNED evo Lineup
Enhanced Color Technology
The new lineup features LG’s proprietary Dynamic QNED Color Solution, replacing quantum dots. This innovation ensures more accurate color reproduction by optimizing backlight output for pure and realistic colors. Intertek has certified the lineup for 100% Color Volume, guaranteeing color fidelity without distortion.
True Wireless 4K Experience
LG’s True Wireless 4K technology, previously limited to its OLED evo M Series, now comes to the QNED evo (QNED9M). Using a separate Zero Connect Box, the TV transmits 4K video at 144Hz wirelessly, ensuring high-quality visuals without delays. Certified with AMD FreeSync Premium, the TV needs only a power cord, allowing flexible placement of consoles and devices.
Advanced AI Processing
Equipped with the α8 AI Processor, the TVs offer a 70% boost in AI-powered performance compared to previous models. Features include:
- Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro: Scene-based HDR optimization for precise brightness adjustments.
- AI-Enhanced Audio: Conversion of 2-channel sound to virtual 9.1.2 surround sound.
- Clearer Dialogue: Voice isolation for improved speech clarity.
Personalized Viewing Experience
The AI Magic Remote includes an AI button for viewing recommendations and app suggestions. Voice ID and personalized searches powered by a large language model (LLM) enhance customization. The Generative AI Gallery and LLM-based searches are available in Korea and the U.S.
Expanded Screen Sizes
Responding to consumer demand, LG has added a 100-inch option, expanding the QNED evo lineup to sizes from 40 to 100 inches.
WebOS 25 Advancements
LG’s webOS 25 platform enhances personalization with tailored content and service updates. The webOS Re:New Program ensures software upgrades for five years, maximizing the TV’s usability.
