realme 14 Pro Series 5G to feature 42° quad-curved display

realme has confirmed that the realme 14 Pro Series 5G will feature a quad-curved display with a 42° golden curvature on all four sides, creating an aesthetic that’s both visually striking and ergonomically sound.

The AI anti-mis-touching technology that reduces mis-touch incidents by 25%. realme says that it will bost India’s narrowest bezels in the price segment, measuring just 1.6mm on all four sides, promising a highly immersive visual experience, ideal for media consumption.

This translates to 93.8% screen-to-body ratio, creating an almost borderless viewing experience that transforms how users interact with their content. Additionally, the display incorporates 3840Hz PWM+DC dimming and AI active eye protection, reducing eye fatigue during prolonged use.

The phone features cutting-edge FIAA technology which is typically reserved for flagship devices ensuring superior color accuracy at the edges and optimizes space by routine wires within the AA area, effectively eliminating the black border as seen in traditional curved displays.

Furthermore, with the realme 14 Pro Series 5G, realme said that it has also tackled the increased complexity of module lamination, addressing challenges such as lamination rebound bubbles, reliability wrinkles, and screen delimitation through customized lamination fixtures and optimized processes, supported by large-scale simulation modeling.

Earlier this week, realme said that it will inveset approximately INR 100 crore to further advance quad-curved display technology for its smartphones globally.

realme already confirmed that the realme 14 Pro series will be introduced in January 2025.
