Samsung Electronics has unveiled five new monitors as part of its 2025 lineup ahead of CES 2025 in Las Vegas, scheduled from January 7 to January 10, 2025. The models introduced include the 2025 Smart Monitor M9, Odyssey OLED G8, Odyssey OLED G6, Odyssey 3D, and Viewfinity S8.
2025 Smart Monitor M9
The 2025 Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF) features a self-illuminating OLED panel along with advanced AI functions. This 32-inch 4K monitor offers a 165Hz refresh rate and includes a range of innovative features to enhance the user experience, according to the company.
The AI Picture Optimizer is a standout feature, as it is the first of its kind to analyze the screen’s content and automatically adjust the picture quality based on the type of content—whether it’s gaming, video, or documents.
For gaming, the AI optimizes the picture quality according to the game genre. The monitor also supports 4K AI Upscaling Pro, which utilizes deep learning to upscale low-quality content into 4K. However, this feature is only available through the built-in Smart TV app and Gaming Hub in PQ Priority Mode.
Additional features include a 4K built-in camera for video conferencing and Tizen OS Home, which provides access to a wide variety of OTT content.
Odyssey OLED Gaming Monitors: G8, G6, and Odyssey 3D
Samsung’s Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) is the first monitor to offer 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160) and a 240Hz refresh rate in a 27-inch size. With 8 million pixels and 165 PPI, it delivers incredibly sharp picture quality. The Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF), also a 27-inch monitor, supports QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440) and is the first OLED monitor to achieve a 500Hz refresh rate.
Both models are equipped with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 for superior picture quality and support NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for a smooth gaming experience with minimal screen tearing.
Samsung also introduced the Odyssey 3D (G90XF), a 27-inch gaming monitor that offers a 3D experience without the need for glasses. It features a lenticular lens and a front stereo camera to deliver a three-dimensional experience. Additionally, AI technology converts 2D content into 3D, enhancing both gaming and content viewing.
Viewfinity S8
Designed for productivity, the Viewfinity S8 boasts a 37-inch 4K display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, offering 34% more screen area compared to its predecessor.
Certified by TÜV Rheinland as an “Ergonomic Workspace Display,” the Viewfinity S8’s ergonomic design enhances work immersion and efficiency.
It features an adjustable stand, allowing users to adjust height, tilt, and pivot for optimal viewing. Additionally, it supports USB-C with up to 90W charging and is compatible with a wide range of devices.

Details regarding pricing and availability will be shared during CES 2025 or as part of the global rollout, expected in Q1 2025.
