Xiaomi today introduced the REDMI Book 14 2025 and REDMI Book 16 2025 laptops for the Chinese market.
These new models are built with durable aluminum alloy and feature CNC-machined hinges, ensuring solid build quality. Both laptops are sleek, with the REDMI Book 14 weighing 1.36kg and measuring 15.9mm in thickness, while the REDMI Book 16 weighs 1.65kg, maintaining the same thickness.
REDMI Book 14 2025
The REDMI Book 14 2025 features a 14-inch 2.8K display with a 2880×1800 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 400 nits brightness. It offers 100% sRGB color gamut and is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and flicker-free viewing. The refresh rate dynamically adjusts between 60Hz and 120Hz for efficiency.
Powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-220H processor, the laptop offers up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, running on Windows 11. It includes a dual-fan cooling system for heat management and the “Fn+K Performance Selection Mode” for switching between Quiet, Balanced, and Performance modes.
Smart Battery AI improves power efficiency, increasing battery life by up to 22.6% during video calls. The 56Wh battery provides up to 13.8 hours of usage, a 9.6% improvement over its predecessor, and supports fast charging to 50% in just 32 minutes with a 100W GaN charger.
REDMI Book 16 2025
The REDMI Book 16 2025 features a 16-inch 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2560×1600 resolution. It offers a 90.4% screen-to-body ratio with ultra-thin bezels, providing an immersive viewing experience. Like the REDMI Book 14, it has a 100% sRGB color gamut, 400 nits brightness, and TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light and flicker-free operation.
This model also runs on the 13th Gen Intel Core i5-220H processor, with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The dual-fan cooling system is optimized by AI, enhancing performance by up to 19.97% in Excel and 18.24% in Photoshop. The 72Wh battery delivers up to 19.05 hours of usage and supports 100W fast charging via a GaN adapter.

Both laptops showcase precision craftsmanship with a smooth unibody design. The full-size keyboard offers 1.3mm key travel, a three-level backlight, and a 180-degree opening mechanism for flexibility during presentations. Rigorous durability tests, including collision and hinge tests, ensure these devices are built to withstand daily use.

Both models feature a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port for high-speed data transfer and charging, HDMI 2.1 for external displays, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB-A 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
