HMD Key budget Android Go Edition phone announced


HMD has introduced HMD Key, the company’s latest budget 4G smartphone with Android 14 experience (Go edition) for select markets. It packs a 6.52-inch HD+ 60Hz screen, is powered by Unisoc 9832E Quad-Core SoC with 2GB of RAM and additional 2GB of virtual RAM.

It will get quarterly security updates for 2 years and packs a 4000 mAh battery that promises up to 77 hours of usage between charges. There is an 8 MP auto-focus rear camera with features such as Portrait, Night, Pro, Slow Motion, Time Lapse, and Panorama and a 5MP front camera.

The HMD Key comes in Icy Blue and Midnight Black colours and is priced at 59 GBP (USD 73 / Rs. 6,270 approx.). It is already rolling out in the UK, Australia, and the New Zealand.
