After rumours, Samsung has officially announced its Galaxy Unpacked in-person event will happen in San Jose on January 22nd, 2025. Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones are expected at the event.
Even though there are rumors of Galaxy S25 Slim, it is expected to be teased at the end of the event, but the launch is expected later.
Samsung has started pre-reservations for the phone in India on Samsung India Store. You can pay Rs. 1999 to reserve it, and those who pre-book will get benefits worth Rs. 5000, says the company.
Even though the launch date in India and the price have not been announced yet, Samsung said that it will be the pre-reservations open till 22nd January 2025 or till Pre-booking starts.

- While paying for the next Galaxy device, your purchase value will be adjusted by Rs. 1999 (Amount which you have paid to pre-reserve)
- If the coupon is not utilized till pre-book period, it will stand automatically cancelled and the pre-reserve amount will be refunded to the original source of payment.
These are just the pre-reserve offers, and the sale offers should be revealed during the sale after the launch. As usual, the company will hold Samsung Live where users will get more offers, and an early delivery for the orders.
What to expect from the Galaxy S25 series?
All the models in the lineup are expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. These are expected to get an upgraded camera setup including a new 50MP 3x telephoto camera, and up to 16GB of RAM for the 512GB and 1TB variants of the Ultra model.
The phones are expected to get a Qi2 wireless charging support via a magnetic charging case for Qi2 25 watts wireless fast charging, that should be sold separately. We also have the latest set of renders of the phones inside a clear case along with a charging case.
