At CES 2025, LG unveiled xboom by will.i.am, a new line of audio products featuring Bluetooth speakers and earbuds, as it had promised. The company collaborated with will.i.am, an award-winning American pop artist, to create this lineup. The products are tuned by will.i.am, delivering the signature Xboom sound.
The “xboom by will.i.am” lineup includes a range of smart Bluetooth speakers—the xboom Bounce, Grab, and Stage 301—as well as the xboom Buds TWS.
xboom by will.i.am Speakers
The new lineup of Bluetooth speakers comes with innovative features like AI Sound that analyses audio track and switches to sound options that accentuate the melody, rhythm, or voice, AI Lighting that keeps the speakers’ bar lights pulsing in multicolored sync, and AI Calibration that allows speakers to instantly recognize their surroundings to fill various indoor or outdoor spaces with ample sound.
Additionally, thanks to the collaboration, these speakers feature a dedicated button for users to instantly connect to will.i.am’s RAiDiO.FYI platform to enjoy various infotainment content tailored for each listener by an AI Radio Host.
xboom Bounce, designed for portability and thumping sound, comes with up-bouncing passive radiators, dual tweeters, and a woofer for precise stereo and enhanced soundstage. It has IP67 water/dust resistance and offers up to 30 hours of battery life.
xboom Grab, a trimmed version of Bounce is a travel-friendly Bluetooth speaker. Despite the compact size, LG has managed to fit in dual passive radiators positioned on both sides of the speaker for dynamic bass and lively sound. It has an IP67 rating and Military Standard 810G durability and offers up to 20 hours of battery life.
xboom Stage 301, as the name suggests, is a party speaker and is ideal for gatherings. It has a 6.5-inch woofer and dual 2.5-inch midrange drivers, providing rich, full-bodied audio, an IPX4 water resistance rating, and a replaceable battery that lasts up to 11 hours.
xboom Buds
xboom Buds is an in-ear TWS with a unique ear hook design that offers a stable fit. It has graphene drivers, Active Noise Canceling technology, and supports LE Audio Auracast, enabling users to listen to open audio streams in public and enjoy multi-device connectivity. Further, LG says, the ergonomic ear tips of the TWS can adapt to various ear shapes. It offers up to 30 hours of total playback and is IPX4 water resistance.
Availability
The pricing and availability of the latest audio products will be announced at the time of launch later this year. LG will be showcasing this new xboom by will.i.am products at CES 2025 from January 9-12.
