Dell UltraSharp 32″ and 27″ 4K Thunderbolt Hub Monitors, Alienware 27″ 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor, Area-51 Laptops and more announced

At CES 2025, Dell introduced several new products designed to enhance user experiences in areas such as visual clarity, sound, and sustainability. Among the highlights were the UltraSharp Hub monitors, a 4K QD-ALED monitor, the Alienware 27 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor, and the Alienware Area-51 Desktop and Area-51 Laptops.

Dell UltraSharp 32 and 27 4K Thunderbolt Hub Monitors

The Dell UltraSharp 32 and 27 4K Thunderbolt Hub Monitors are the world’s first to feature enhanced IPS Black technology, offering 47% deeper blacks and an 89% improvement in contrast compared to traditional IPS displays.

These monitors also boast VESA DisplayHDR 600 and 4K resolution for better color accuracy, depth, and detail, even in challenging lighting conditions.

Designed for eye comfort, they are the first 4K monitors certified with a 5-star eye comfort rating by TÜV Rheinland, featuring:

  • Lower Blue Light Emission: Reduces blue light by 30%, maintaining color accuracy.
  • Ambient Light Sensor: Automatically adjusts brightness and color temperature.
  • Low Reflectance Panel: Minimizes glare under office lighting.
  • 120 Hz Refresh Rate: Provides smoother visuals, reducing flicker and enhancing comfort.

Connectivity options include Thunderbolt 4, USB-A and C ports, RJ45 ports, and up to 140W power delivery via USB-C Extended Power Range. The monitors also support multi-monitor setups for efficient device management and charging.

Dell 32 Plus 4K QD-OLED Monitor

The Dell 32 Plus 4K QD-OLED Monitor elevates display technology with 4K resolution and QD-OLED technology, delivering vibrant colors, clarity, and contrast. It integrates AI-powered spatial audio for a more immersive experience, using a 5x5W speaker array with beamforming technology.

With a 120 Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium, and a 0.03ms response time, the monitor is perfect for fast-paced gaming. It also supports Dolby Vision and VESA Display True Black 400 for improved video quality. The monitor offers a single USB-C connection for easy device charging and connectivity.

Sustainability Efforts

Dell is committed to sustainability with monitors that use up to 100% recycled aluminum, 85% post-consumer recycled plastics, 50% recycled steel, and at least 20% recycled glass. These products meet high environmental standards, including TCO certification, EPEAT Gold status for the UltraSharp models, and ENERGY STAR® certification for the Dell 32 Plus 4K QD-OLED.

Alienware 27 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor

The Alienware 27 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor offers ultra-detailed visuals with 27-inch 4K resolution (3840×2160) and QD-OLED technology, delivering a pixel density of 166 PPI.

It features a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms response time, ensuring smooth gameplay. Dolby Vision HDR and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 provide vibrant colors and high contrast. The monitor supports NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync for a tear-free gaming experience.

With the new AW30 design, it includes 360-degree ventilation, cable management, and a compact base. The monitor also features AI-based anti-burn-in technology and a graphite sheet for added protection, along with a 3-year warranty covering burn-in.

Area-51 Desktop

The Area-51 Desktop, built with input from the gaming community, features a full-size 80L tower that supports next-gen NVIDIA graphics and an Intel® Core Ultra 9 285K CPU, delivering up to 600W of GPU power and 280W of CPU power.

It has a scalable design, improved positive pressure airflow, and liquid cooling, increasing airflow by 25%, reducing temperatures by 13%, and reducing noise by 45%. The desktop includes up to 64GB DDR5 RAM, 8TB storage, and customizable AlienFX lighting.

The Area-51 Laptops come in 18-inch and 16-inch models, equipped with next-gen NVIDIA graphics, an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, and Cryo-tech™ thermal architecture, offering up to 280W of total power.

The AW30 design features RGB lighting, a Liquid Teal finish, and a translucent thermal shelf. Key features include improved airflow, reduced noise, up to 7200 MT/s memory, and up to 12TB storage with Gen 5 SSDs.
