Acer Nitro V series, Swift Go, Aspire Vero 16, and Predator Helios AI models and Swift Go AI and Aspire models unveiled at CES 2025


At CES 2025, Acer introduced new laptops including the Nitro V series, Swift Go, Aspire Vero 16, and Predator Helios AI models, alongside expanding its Copilot+ PC portfolio with new Swift Go AI and Aspire models.

Nitro V AI Gaming Laptops

Acer launched the Nitro V AI laptop series with three models: Nitro V 17 AI, Nitro V 16 AI, and Nitro V 14 AI. These gaming laptops feature AMD Ryzen 7 350 processors built on Zen 5 architecture, with an NPU supporting up to 50 AI TOPS for enhanced AI experiences.

Graphics are powered by up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPUs, featuring NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 technology. The Nitro V 17 AI has a 17.3-inch QHD display with a 165 Hz refresh rate, while the Nitro V 16 AI offers a WQXGA display with a 180 Hz refresh rate. The Nitro V 14 AI has a WQXGA resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate, with a unique white finish.

Nitro V 15 Gaming Laptops

The Nitro V 15 series includes two models: Nitro V 15 AI with an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor, and Nitro V 15 with an Intel Core i7-240H processor. Both feature a 15.6-inch FHD display with a 180 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color support.

Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14

The Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 are powered by Intel Core Ultra 200H processors, Intel Arc graphics, and up to 99 on-device AI TOPS. With up to 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of SSD storage, they support multitasking and offer up to 27.5 hours of video playback.

The laptops feature 3K OLED or 2K IPS touchscreen displays, VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500, and Eyesafe 2.0 for eye-friendly visuals. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, along with security features such as facial recognition and fingerprint readers.

Aspire Vero 16

The Aspire Vero 16 is built using over 70% recycled plastic and bio-based materials, including ocean-bound plastic in the touchpad. It’s powered by Intel Core Ultra 200H processors, with up to 32 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage.

Its 16-inch display supports 100% sRGB color gamut. Security features include a 1440p QHD webcam and privacy options, while connectivity is enhanced by Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Predator Helios 16 AI & Helios 18 AI

Acer’s Predator Helios AI series includes the Helios 16 AI (PH16-73) and Helios 18 AI (PH18-73). The Helios 16 AI features up to Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPUs, 64 GB of memory, and 4 TB of PCIe Gen 5 storage. The Helios 18 AI offers a larger display, up to 192 GB of memory, and 6 TB of storage.

Both models support NVIDIA DLSS, AI-enhanced performance, and over 150 AI applications for advanced gaming and productivity. They feature Acer’s 6th Gen AeroBlade 3D metal fans, the thinnest at 0.05 mm, improving airflow by 20% compared to plastic fans. Additionally, they utilize liquid metal thermal grease and vector heat pipes for efficient cooling.

The Helios 16 AI comes with an OLED WQXGA display with a 240 Hz refresh rate, while the Helios 18 AI offers a 4K Mini LED display, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits brightness. Both support NVIDIA G-SYNC, Advanced Optimus, and MUX Switch. Audio enhancements include DTS:X Ultra, with four speakers on the 16 AI and six on the 18 AI.

It offers 32 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage, suitable for gaming and creative tasks. The OLED WQXGA display has a 240 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Acer’s 5th Gen AeroBlade fans and liquid metal thermal grease ensure efficient cooling.

Swift Go 16 AI and Swift Go 14 AI

The Swift Go 16 AI (SFG16-61/T) and Swift Go 14 AI (SFG14-64/T) are designed for high performance on the go, powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors with “Zen 5” architecture, up to 8 cores, 16 threads, and speeds up to 5.0 GHz. They include AMD XDNA 2 NPU with up to 50 TOPS and AMD Radeon 800M graphics for smooth streaming and editing.

These laptops offer up to 24.9 hours of video playback, and they have an anodized aluminum design with OLED displays up to 3K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rates, and certifications like DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 and Eyesafe 2.0. Additional features include a 1440p QHD IR camera, DTS:X Ultra audio, and a 3-microphone array.

Acer Aspire 14 AI Laptop

The Acer Aspire 14 AI (A14-52M/A14-52MT), designed for daily tasks, offers up to 22 hours of video playback. It runs on Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) with an integrated NPU for AI tasks. The 180-degree hinge and 1.4 kg weight make it portable and ideal for collaboration.

It features a 14-inch OLED display or WUXGA touch panel with narrow bezels, up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory, Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. The EPEAT Gold certified Aspire 14 AI uses eco-friendly materials.
