OnePlus has announced a new customer service initiative for its OnePlus 13 Series devices in India. Customers who purchase a OnePlus 13 or OnePlus 13R before February 13, 2025, will be eligible for a 180-day replacement plan. This plan allows for a one-time device replacement within the first 180 days of purchase should the device experience a hardware-related issue.
Details of the Replacement Plan
The plan covers hardware components of the device, including the screen, back cover, battery, and motherboard. In the event of a verified hardware defect within the 180-day period, customers can receive a new replacement device.
The process for claiming a replacement involves visiting an authorized OnePlus service center to confirm eligibility. This service will be provided at no cost to customers who purchase a OnePlus 13 Series device between January 10 and February 13.
After this period, the plan can be purchased as an optional add-on. The paid plan extends the replacement service for three more months and is priced at Rs. 2599 for the OnePlus 13 and Rs. 2299 for the OnePlus 13R.
Part of a Broader Service Strategy in India
This replacement plan is a component of OnePlus’s “Project Starlight” in India. This initiative represents the company’s investment in the region, focusing on device durability, service enhancements, and features tailored for the Indian market. As part of this project, OnePlus has expanded its service network in India, increasing the number of service centers and streamlining service processes.
OnePlus 13 Series
The OnePlus 13 starts at Rs. 69,999 and the OnePlus 13R starts at Rs. 42,999. These will be available from Amazon.in, OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, and offline retail partners such as OnePlus Experience Stores, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, Bajaj Electronics, and others starting from January 10th and 13th, respectively.
