realme has confirmed the launch of realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC, the company’s next neckband headset as the successor to last year’s Buds Wireless 3 in India on January 16th alongside the realme 14 Pro series.
The company has confirmed 50db hybrid active noise cancellation, compared to 30dB in the predecessor, and will feature adaptive 3-level noise reduction as well as 4000 Hz ultra-wide band noise cancellation. As usual, these will ENC call noise cancellation and IP55 water and dust resistant ratings.
These promise 38 Hours of battery life on a single charge without ANC. The image shows white or silver with yellow color for the headset, but we can expect these to come to several colours. There is no mention of LDHC or LDAC codec support, so we can expect it to stick to AAC codec to keep the cost low.
The realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC will be sold on realme.com, Flipkart & Amazon. We should know more details in the coming days, before it goes official in a week.
