Lava today expanded its ProWatch smartwatch lineup with the launch of the ProWatch V1, a second-generation model featuring several key upgrades.
The ProWatch V1 boasts an octagonal design and a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a high resolution of 390×450 pixels. This model offers 42% higher pixels per inch (PPI) compared to its predecessor and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for enhanced durability.
Additionally, the 2.5D GPU Animation Engine improves the user experience by providing smooth transition effects, the company highlighted. Powered by the Realtek 8773 chipset, the ProWatch V1 supports Bluetooth v5.3, ensuring stable and efficient connectivity.
It also includes Assisted GPS for precise location tracking during outdoor activities. Equipped with the VC9213 PPG sensor, the ProWatch V1 offers accurate health and fitness tracking, ensuring reliable monitoring of vital metrics. With over 110 sports modes, the ProWatch V1 caters to a variety of activities, from running to yoga. It is also waterproof with an IP68 rating.

Pricing and Availability
The ProWatch V1 is available in four color variants: Peachy Hikari, Black Nebula, Bluish Ronin, and Mint Shinobi. The price of the ProWatch V1 starts at Rs. 2,399.
- The Peachy Hikari variant, featuring a silicone + rose gold metal strap and tested for 24 hours in salt spray, is priced at Rs. 2,699.
- The Black Nebula variant, with a silicone + black metal strap and tested for 48 hours in salt spray, is priced at Rs. 2,799.
The ProWatch V1 will be available at the nearest retail outlets starting in the first week of January, as announced by the company.
