By combining Qualcomm Technologies’ state-of-the-art Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions with MapmyIndia’s deep expertise in location-based technologies, the companies are set to deliver cutting-edge automotive connectivity solutions and connected services for both the four-wheel (4W) and two-wheel (2W) segments, for Indian and global automakers alike.
This collaboration will see MapmyIndia leveraging Qualcomm Technologies’ Snapdragon Auto Connectivity Platform to develop comprehensive telematics solutions tailored to the unique requirements of Indian automakers.
This initiative is designed to enable OEMs to offer high-quality yet affordable connectivity solutions, particularly in mid-tier and low-tier vehicle segments, making advanced safety and convenience features accessible to the mass market.
Further strengthening this alliance, MapmyIndia will integrate Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud Services with its MAPPLS automotive services to create a robust software-defined vehicle framework. This framework will manage device and cloud services for 2W, 4W, and commercial vehicles powered by Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions. The unified platform and common interface are designed to streamline device, data, maps, navigation, and service management.
Through this integrated solution, MapmyIndia will be able to scale, customize, and deliver necessary applications and application programming interfaces (APIs) to elevate the end-to-end user experience. This ensures that every user benefits from a personalized and intuitive interaction that is specifically tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
