OPPO Find N5 teased ahead of February announcement

After rumours, OPPO has started teasing the launch of Find N5, the company’s next foldable flagship, ahead of China launch in February. OPPO Find series head Zhou Yibao said that it will be the world’s thinnest folding flagship.

He added that the thinness is not the limit of Find N5, but the limit of the charging port. He also posted a comparison with the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and also posted images that shows thickness of the phone is equivalent to four bank cards or two 1 yuan coins.

OPPO’s Find series product head already revealed that the new phone is internally codenamed “Haiyan” and will continue to support the stylus function. The OPPO Find N3 which was introduced back in 2023 is 5.8mm thick, and the HONOR Magic V3 that was introduced last year is currently the thinnest foldable phone at just 4.35mm.

Based on earlier reports, the OPPO Find N5 has a titanium body, will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 50MP periscope telephoto lens, ColorOS 15, customized C port and a battery capacity of about 5700mAh battery with support wired fast charging and wireless charging.
