Specifications of the Exynos 2500 SoC surfaced last year, and the 10-Core SoC even surfaced a benchmark revealing the performance of the Xclipse 950 GPU. Now the detailed specifications of the chip has surfaced, thanks to tipster @Jukanlosreve.
The Exynos 2500 deca-core chip, is said to use 1 x 3.3GHz Cortex X925 Prime Core, 2 x 2.75GHz Cortex-A725 + 5 x 2.36GHz Cortex-A725 performance cores and 2 x 1.8GHz Cortex-A520 power efficient cores.
Even though the clock speed doesn’t change when the chip surfaced in the test unit last year, the ARM CPUs are revealed. This also reveals 16MB L3 Cache and will use 3nm process made using Samsung Foundry’s SF3 process node.
The chip is said to use 1.3GHz Samsung Xclipse 950 GPU which has 8 Workgroup Processors (WGPs) and AMD RDNA3.5 architecture. It is said to get 9.6Gbps 16bit Quad-Channel LPDDR5X Memory, UFS4.x storage, and 56TOPs NPU. The SoC is said to reatain 320MP ISP, 8K 30 fps encoding, and 8K 60 fps decoding.
Samsung Galaxy Flip7
Samsung’s next-generation foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Flip7 that expected to launch in the second half of 2025 could use the Exynos 2500 application processor (AP), according to reports from Korea. This marks a significant shift, as it’s the first Galaxy foldable device to utilize an Exynos chip, breaking the previous reliance on Qualcomm’s APs.
According to the latest report from GalaxyClub.nl, the Galaxy Z Flip7 is said to retain a 50-megapixel main camera and a 12 MP ultrawide camera. It is also expected to retain the 10MP front camera from the Galaxy Z Flip6.
Samsung is expected to improve the algorithm for the Galaxy Z Flip7, such as the ProVisual engine that debuted on the Galaxy S25 series, to further improve imaging quality.
