Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro smartphones back in October last year in China. Now, a new Xiaomi smartphone with the model number 25042PN24C has surfaced on China’s 3C certification, revealing 90W fast charging support for the phone.
This is the same as the Xiaomi 15 Pro, and we can expect it to retain 50W wireless charging for the phone. The Xiaomi 15S Pro surfaced in the GSMA database with the same model number 25042PN24C and codenamed dijun.
This is the first phone to use XRING, Xiaomi’s own SoC, according to some rumours. However, other rumours indicate that it could use an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Other specifications of the phone are not available yet, but looking at earlier trends, the SoC could be the only change in the 15S Pro.
Even though the Xiaomi 15S Pro will fill the gap before the Xiaomi 16 Pro that will arrive later this year, Xiaomi is also working on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra which is expected to launch in China in February and the phone is also expected to be introduced for the global markets at the MWC 2025 in early March.
