Nothing Phone (3a) series confirmed for March 4

After teasers and rumours, Nothing in its Q4 2024, Community Update video confirmed that it will launch the Nothing Phone (3a) series at its event on March 4th at 3:30 PM IST.

The company has also posted the official teaser image of the phone that shows a familiar white glyph lights, but the larger camera bar confirms a triple camera setup. Adjusting the contrast reveals the placement of the flash as well that coincides with the recent leak of the phone inside a case.

During the update, Nothing’s Co-founder Akis Evangelidis shared:

For the (a) Series we have a different set of users. When people buy a smartphone, some are looking for the greatest specs, they want the latest innovations and processors. Yet there are some other users that are equally excited about tech but are happy with just a great user experience – that’s who the (a) Series is for. We’re really focused on the core user needs in terms of camera, screen, processor, and of course design.

Nothing clocks $1 billion revenue

Additionally, Nothing revealed in the update that the company has surpassed $1 billion in lifetime revenue since its founding in October 2020, which is only four years ago.

Nothing’s Chief Financial Officer, Tim Holbrow, added:

Over half of that revenue has come just in the last year, in 2024. And what’s most pleasing, is that’s exactly what we intended to do. We entered 2024 with the aim to build on the successes of Phone (2) and Ear (2), with Phone (2a), Phone (2a) Plus and CMF Phone 1. We brought those products to market and started to build scale around the business. That obviously gives us amazing top line revenue growth. It’s super exciting to have achieved that, and we’re excited to see what we can achieve in 2025.

Nothing Phone (3a) specifications have surfaced, but only some of the Phone (3a) Pro details have surfaced. We should know more details in the coming weeks.
