boAt and Antara partner to develop senior-focused tech solutions

boAt, an Indian audio and wearable tech brand, has announced a partnership with Antara Senior Care, a senior care ecosystem under the Max Group. The collaboration aims to create customized technology solutions designed to improve the lives of senior citizens.

The partnership brings together boAt’s expertise in wearable and audio technology with Antara’s understanding of senior care needs. A formal agreement was signed by Sameer Mehta, Co-Founder & CEO of boAt, and Ishaan Khanna, CEO of Antara Assisted Care Services.

The collaboration will focus on developing devices that address common challenges faced by seniors. These devices will incorporate features such as fall detection and alerts, SOS alerts, location tracking for emergencies, and real-time health monitoring (heart rate, SpO2, and sleep patterns). Remote monitoring capabilities will allow family members and caregivers to stay connected. Furthermore, the devices will include features designed to assist seniors with hearing impairments.

Antara’s AGEasy platform, which focuses on addressing health challenges like joint pain, respiratory rehabilitation, and fall-risk management, will be complemented by these new technologies. The platform combines product innovation, expert assistance, and technology to support seniors in managing chronic conditions.

Both companies emphasized their shared vision of promoting a fitter, safer, and more active lifestyle for seniors. They aim to address the growing demand for senior-centric technology in India by providing solutions that support independence, connectivity, and well-being.

Ishaan Khanna, CEO of Antara Assisted Care Services and Sameer Mehta, Co-Founder & CEO of boAt

On the partnership, Sameer Mehta, Co-founder and CEO of boAt, said:

This collaboration highlights our commitment to using technology to create meaningful impact. We’re thrilled to develop products that not only enhance the health and safety of seniors but also provide their families with peace of mind.

Ishaan Khanna, CEO of Antara Assisted Care Services, shared:

Our mission has always been to empower seniors with solutions that ensure safety, security, and well-being. By collaborating with boAt, we are taking a crucial step forward in integrating advanced technology with senior care. Our goal is to create smart solutions that are intuitive, reliable, and tailored to the unique needs of older adults. We believe that technology should not be a barrier but a bridge to a more secure and independent lifestyle for seniors. Through this partnership, we aim to provide tools that not only offer health monitoring and emergency support but also encourage connectivity, engagement, and an improved quality of life.
