Xiaomi has started pre-reservations for the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the company’s next flagship smartphone and the successor to last year’s Xiaomi 14 Ultra, ahead of the announcement in China.
The company’s CEO Lei Jun earlier today confirmed that the phone will be introduced later this month. To remind you, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was introduced on February 22nd last year, so we can expect the Xiaomi 15 Ultra around the same time. The global launch is expected at the MWC 2025 in the first week of March.
The teaser shows the box of the phone covered with a cloth, and the bottom part of the box has powered by Hyper OS text.
The phone with the model number Xiaomi 25010PN30G has surfaced in Geekbench AI benchmark listing revealing Snapdragon 8 Elite, 16GB of RAM and Android 15.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is said to use a 50MP 1/2.51″ Sony IMX858, 70mm 3X telephoto camera and doesn’t crop the images. In addition, the dual telephoto lenses of Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to support telephoto macro function, and there is also a new photography handle kit.
Earlier rumours also revealed a 50MP 23mm f/1.6x main camera, with a 1″ LYT-900 sensor, a new 200MP 4.3X periscope telephoto camera with f/2.6 aperture, a 1/1.4″ Samsung HP9 sensor. It should retain a 50MP ultra-wide camera with Samsung JN5 sensor and use Leica Summilux lens.
The phone is said to pack a huge 6000mAh battery, compared to 5300mAh battery in the predecessor, and get 90W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and a 2K quad-curved screen from the Xiaomi 15 Pro.
