iPhone SE 4 could launch as early as next week

After several rumours, a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says that the iPhone SE 4 will launch as early as next week through a press release as usual, ahead of sale a week later.

Even though recent rumor said that it will get a dynamic island instead of notch, Gurman says that it will still come with a notch like the iPhone 14 and use Face ID replacing the Touch ID in the iPhone SE 3 model.

It is said to feature a 6.1-inch OLED 460ppi Super Retina XDR display, similar to the iPhone 14, feature the latest A18 chip and 8GB RAM from the iPhone 16 series, include support for Apple Intelligence and instead of Qualcomm modem, this is said to get Apple’s own modem for the first time.

For the cameras, this is said to get a 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera from the iPhone 15, but drop the ultra-wide camera.

The Apple PowerBeats Pro 2 earbuds are also expected to be introduced alongside, so the launch could happen on February 11th. Pricing is anticipated to be slightly higher than the current model, which starts at $429.
