HONOR officially announced its integration with DeepSeek, bringing advanced AI capabilities to its mobile devices in its home market, China. This partnership allows users to leverage a “smarter, more intuitive, and highly efficient AI assistant” customized to individual needs.
HONOR highlighted that its AI assistant, YOYO, already supports over 130 million monthly active users. The inclusion of the DeepSeek-R1 model enhances YOYO’s capabilities in natural language processing, logical reasoning, and contextual understanding.
This upgrade makes YOYO more efficient in handling AI tasks, improving user interaction through deep thinking, intelligent interaction, and personalized services. To utilize these new features, HONOR users in China can activate YOYO by swiping up from the bottom of their device to enter the “AI agent” section and choose “DeepSeek-R1.”
