motorola razr ultra 2025 with Snapdragon 8 Elite surfaces

motorola is preparing for the launch of its next razr ultra device, the company’s flagship flip phone. Recently, a device named ‘motorola razr ultra 2025’ passed Geekbench, revealing key specifications. This seems to be the successor to the razr 50 ultra that was announced last year.

Geekbench listing confirms a definite change in motorola’s naming scheme for its top-of-the-line flip phone. According to Geekbench listing, the razr ultra 2025 runs Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, scoring 2782 in single-core run and 8457 in multi-core run.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite used in the razr ultra 2025, runs at a base frequency of 3.53 GHz with 6 cores while the remaining high-performance cores run at 4.32 GHz.

The Geekbench scores of the flagship SoC used in this flip phone do not match the usual scores of the processor, possibly due to the device’s thermal system. However, it should be sufficient and an improvement over its predecessor for everyday use and AI-based tasks, which motorola aims to enhance further this year with an upgraded moto AI.

Apart from the chipset, the razr ultra 2025 will run the latest Android 15 version alongside 12GB of RAM. It is said that this smartphone could be released earlier than the usual timeline. We can expect the launch to happen in March/April.

We should get more details about the motorola razr ultra 2025, and its launch date in the coming weeks.
