After rumours, OnePlus has confirmed the launch of OnePlus Watch 3 smartwatch in the US and Europe markets on February 18th. This is expected to be introduced as the OPPO Watch X2 for the Chinese market on February 20th alongside the OPPO Find N5.
Battery life
The smartwatch will come in Emerald Titanium and Obsidian Titanium and promises up to 16-day battery life in Power Saver Mode, compared to 12 days for the OnePlus Watch 2. In the Smart mode, this promises up to 5 days or 120 hours of battery life, compared to 100 hours or 4 days in the predecessor. A 10-minute charge lest you power up the watch for a full day’s use, says OnePlus.
The Watch 3 will retain the stainless steel casing from its predecessor and get a titanium alloy bezel with a robust PVD coating that enhances its elegance while ensuring exceptional durability for daily use, says the company. It will feature a 2D Sapphire Crystal display with a brighter screen.
Design
The Emerald Titanium watch features a silver titanium bezel and a stainless steel body, as well as a green fluororubber strap with a stainless steel buckle. The Emerald Titanium finish, inspired by nature, exhibits the ideal balance of dynamic athleticism, signifying development and energy, according to OnePlus.
The Obsidian Titanium model features a black titanium bezel and a stainless steel body, as well as a black fluororubber strap with a stainless steel buckle.
Rotating crown, Health features and more
Based on earlier reports, the smartwatch will feature a functioning rotating digital crown that lets you zoom in and out in an app, adjust the volume, and more. It is said to get ECG Tracking, Wrist Temperature Monitoring, 60-Second Health Checkup, Health Insights and Journey, improvements to sleep-tracking and more.
It is said to retain Snapdragon W5 + BES 2700 dual processors, coupled with 32GB of storage and get a 631mAh battery compared to 500mAh in the predecessor.
