motorola is preparing to expand its foldable phone lineup with the razr 60 series, set to launch in 2025. Following recent leaks of the motorola razr Ultra 2025, which is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the first renders of the razr 60 series have surfaced.
The upcoming line-up includes the motorola razr Plus 2025, known as the razr 60 Ultra outside the United States. Codenamed “Orion,” the razr Plus 2025 is reportedly set to “launch soon”, according to Android Headlines. The leaked images showcase a dark green variant with a faux leather stitched back, a design element seen in previous razr models.
One of the defining features of the razr series is its large cover display. The razr Plus 2024 introduced a 4-inch cover screen, a design that the 2025 model is expected to retain. Unlike some competitors, motorola enables users to run any Android application on the cover display, enhancing functionality.
Internally, the razr Plus 2025 is rumored to include a 6.9-inch main display and be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The device is expected to offer up to 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 4,000mAh battery.
The device also features a dual-camera system seamlessly integrated into the cover screen, a design reminiscent of the razr+ 2024 and razr 50 Ultra.
Beyond the updated chipset, the razr Plus 2025 appears to retain many features from its predecessor. However, additional details are expected to surface as the launch date approaches.
