Google has announced that its annual developer conference, Google I/O 2025, will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California.
The conference will kick off at 10 a.m. PT with a main keynote hosted by CEO Sundar Pichai, followed by a developer keynote and on-demand technical sessions.
For the first time, Google will stream developer product keynotes live from Shoreline over both days of the event. Day one will focus on keynotes, while day two will include breakout sessions, workshops, demonstrations, and networking opportunities.
Google has indicated that the event will highlight advancements in Android, AI, web, cloud, and more. Developers can expect insights into how the latest AI models can enhance app development and streamline workflows.
What to Expect at Google I/O 2025:

- Updates on Android 16.
- A focus on tools like the Gemma open model, Google AI Studio, and NotebookLM, as highlighted on the I/O homepage under the “Start building today” section.
