HMD has introduced HMD Aura², the company’s latest budget 4G smartphone with Android 14 experience (Go edition) for select markets with a similar design as the HMD Key that was introduced last month, but this has slightly better specifications.
It packs a 6.52-inch HD+ 60Hz screen, is powered by Unisoc 9863A Octa-Core SoC with up to 2GB of RAM and additional up to 4GB of virtual RAM. This has 256GB of internal storage.
It will get quarterly security updates for 2 years and packs a 5000 mAh battery that promises up to 51 hours of usage between charges. There is an 13 MP auto-focus rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

The HMD Aura² comes in Shadow Black, Electric Purple and Icy Blue colours and is priced at 169 AUD (USD 106 / Rs. 9,200 approx.). It will be available in select markets including Australia from 13th March 2025
