Nothing today confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3a) series will be powered by Snapdragon SoC, a change from MediaTek Dimensity SoCs in the Nothing Phone (2a) series.
Regarding this, Nothing CEO Carl Pei said that the Phone (3a) with the Snapdragon chip has a 25% faster CPU performance and 72% faster NPU compared to the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC that powers the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus.
Even though the company is yet to reveal the details about the Snapdragon chip officially, according to earlier rumours, the phones will be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC.
The company recently posted a teaser video of the zoom camera of the Phone (3a) hinting at the telephoto camera.
Earlier this week, the company said that the Phone (3a) series, will be manufactured in India. It also posted the transparent design of the phone. It already posted an official teaser image of the phone that shows a familiar white glyph lights, and a larger camera bar revealing a triple camera setup.
The Nothing Phone (3a) will be introduced on March 4th. We should know more details in the coming weeks.
