Tim Cook teases Apple launch for February 19 — iPhone SE 4 expected

After rumors, Apple CEO Tim Cook has officially posted that the newest member of the Apple family will launch on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025 along with #Applelaunch without revealing the time. This should be the new iPhone SE (2025) model, which was expected to launch earlier this week.

The first iPhone SE was launched in an event back in 2016, but the SE 2 and the SE 3 models were introduced in a press release without much fan fare, and it is a surprise that the company is teasing the launch of its fourth SE series phone.

Since this says Apple launch instead of event, we can expect a video announcement for the new iPhone SE model explaining the features along with the press release. Based on earlier reports, the phone is expected to go on sale a week later on Friday, which should be February 28th.

The iPhone SE 4 is said to feature a 6.1-inch OLED 460ppi Super Retina XDR display, similar to the iPhone 14, pack the latest A18 chip and 8GB RAM from the iPhone 16 series, include support for Apple Intelligence and instead of Qualcomm modem, this is said to get Apple’s own modem for the first time.

For the cameras, this is said to get a 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera from the iPhone 15, but drop the ultra-wide camera.
