Xiaomi is all set to introduce the Xiaomi 15 Ultra next week at an event in China, and the global launch is teased for March 2nd at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. Xiaomi India has also teased the launch of the phone on the same day.
Now the press renders of the phone in all the three colours have surfaced.
The back panel of the Black and White models have a glass finish, and the one with Leica-inspired dual-tone finish has a vegan leather back. This also shows the flat screen with a micro-curved design around the edges.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun posted camera samples from the phone recently and said that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a very powerful night shooting capability at all focal lengths. It shows 70mm focal length and f/1.8 aperture.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is said to use a 50MP 1/2.51″ Sony IMX858, 70mm 3X telephoto camera and doesn’t crop the images. In addition, the dual telephoto lenses of Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to support telephoto macro function, and there is also a new photography handle kit.
It is said to pack a 50MP 23mm f/1.6x main camera, with a 1″ LYT-900 sensor, a new 200MP 4.3X periscope telephoto camera with f/2.6 aperture, a 1/1.4″ Samsung HP9 sensor. It should retain a 50MP ultra-wide camera with Samsung JN5 sensor and use Leica Summilux lens.
The phone is said to pack a huge 6000mAh battery, compared to 5300mAh battery in the predecessor, and get 90W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and a 2K quad-curved screen from the Xiaomi 15 Pro.
