HP has launched its latest Victus 15 gaming AI laptop in India. The laptop showcases a sleek, OMEN-inspired design with softer edges for a more refined appearance.
It features a 15.6-inch FHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 300 nits brightness, an anti-glare panel, flicker-free technology, and a micro-edge bezel. The laptop is made with sustainability in mind, using ocean-bound and recycled plastics, and is both EPEAT registered and ENERGY STAR certified.
The device is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS NPU processor, offering up to a 5.2 GHz max boost clock, 16 MB L3 cache, 8 cores, and 16 threads. It’s paired with an 8GB NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU for enhanced graphical performance.
The laptop includes 16 GB DDR5-5600 RAM, which can be expanded, and storage is handled by a 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. Audio is enriched with DTS:X Ultra technology, dual speakers, and HP Audio Boost.
Connectivity is well-rounded with integrated 1000 GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI-Out 2.1, multiple USB ports including a USB-C with DisplayPort support, a headphone jack, and a 720p HD camera featuring noise reduction and dual microphones.
Battery life is supported by a 4-cell, 70Wh battery, promising up to 8.5 hours of usage, with fast charging to 50% in just 30 minutes, using a 120W AC adapter. Cooling efficiency is managed by HP’s OMEN Tempest Cooling system, which includes dual fans, an IR thermopile sensor, and improved airflow.
Weighing 2.29 kg, the Victus 15 sports a full-size, backlit keyboard with a numeric keypad. It comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office 2024, offers a one-year Microsoft 365 subscription, and includes a three-month Xbox Game Pass for gamers.
