Samsung has launched the Galaxy A06 5G, the company’s latest budget 5G smartphone in the A series in India, days after the launch of Galaxy F06 5G. This has a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 8MP camera inside the notch. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 6GB of virtual RAM.
It runs Android 15 with One UI 7 on top, and Samsung has confirmed 4 generation of OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates for the phone. The phone has IP54 ratings, providing protection against dust and splashes.
It comes with Voice Focus to enhance call clarity in noisy environments, making conversations clearer and more effective. There is also Knox Vault security to save data securely.
The phone has a 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor, has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, but doesn’t come with a charger in the box.

Pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy A06 5G comes in Black, Gray and Light Green colours and is priced at Rs. 10,499 for the 4GB+ 64GB model, Rs. 11,499 for the 4GB + 128GB model and the 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 12,999.
It will be available across all retail outlets, Samsung exclusive stores, as well as other offline channels across India.
