Xiaomi 15 Ultra to be announced on February 27


Xiaomi has finally confirmed the launch of Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone and SU7 Ultra electric car, dual ultra flagships at an event in China on February 27th.

Regarding this, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said:

This time we will release the two most high-end products of Xiaomi in the fifteen years since its founding, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra and Xiaomi 15Ultra.

Ultra means the ultimate pursuit and pure yearning. This is the answer sheet of Xiaomi’s high-end exploration in the past five years, and it is also the beginning of Xiaomi’s move towards ultra-high-end.

Xiaomi smartphone head Lu Weibing last week in a live event revealed the camera specs of the Xiaomi Mi 15 Ultra.

It will feature a 50MP 23mm 1″ sensor for the main camera with f/1.63 aperture, 50MP 14mm ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 50MP 70mm telephoto floating lens with f/1.8 aperture, 10cm telemacro and a 200MP 100mm periscope telephoto camera with f/2.6 aperture, offering 200mm / 400mm zoom for up to 28x lossless zoom.

Earlier reports revealed a 2K quad-curved screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, and a huge 6000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging for the phone.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra China launch event on February 27th starts at 7PM China time (4:30PM IST), and it will be introduced for the global markets on March 2nd, ahead of MWC 2025. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will be showcased for the global markets for the first time at the MWC, confirmed the company.
