Samsung just introduced the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26 smartphones in India and global markets, as it had promised. All the phones pack a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED Display, and the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A36 offer up to 1200 nits HBM and 1900 nits peak brightness.
Performance
The Galaxy A56 is the first phone to be powered Exynos 1580 4nm SoC, and the Galaxy A36 uses a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC for the first time. Both the devices feature a larger vapor chamber, confirmed the company. The Galaxy A26 sticks to Exynos 1380.
All the three phones features IP67 dust and water resistance rating. The Galaxy A56 features a metal frame.
Software updates
All the devices run Android 15 with One UI 7 out of the box and will get up to 6 generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and 6 years of security updates.
The Galaxy A56 5G Enterprise Edition with get 7 years of security and One UI updates, 3 years of warranty, and a 2-year product lifecycle guarantee. It also includes a one-year license to the Knox Suite — Enterprise Plan.
Camera
All the phones features a 50MP main lens with OIS. The A56 and A36 support 10-bit HDR recording on both the front and rear cameras. The Galaxy A56 5G features a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and the other two feature a 8MP ultra-wide lens. The A56 and A36 features a 5MP macro sensor, and the A26 has a 2MP macro sensor.
The Galaxy A56 5G has Best Face feature makes it easier than ever to capture the perfect group shot by selecting and combining the best expressions or features for up to five people from a motion photo.
The Galaxy A56 5G also brings enhancements to Nightography, with Low Noise Mode added in the 12MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G feature fine-refined Object Eraser.
Battery
All the phones pack a 5,000mAh battery with A56 and A36 featuring support for 45W charging power and Super Fast Charge 2.0 technology, and the A26 sticks to 25W fast charging.
