vivo just launched the T4x 5G, the company’s latest smartphone in the T series and the successor to last year’s T3x 5G in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.72-inch Full HD+ 120Hz LCD screen and has an 8MP camera inside the punch-hole, similar to the predecessor.
But this replaces the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. It also gets a bigger 6500mAh battery compared to the 6000mAh battery in the predecessor, and the company says that this has the largest battery in the price segment. The phone runs Android with Funtouch OS 15, and the company has promised 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security updates for the phone.
It still has 44W fast charging, IP64 ratings for dust and splash resistance, and a 50-megapixel main camera, along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone has MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification.

Pricing and availability
The vivo T4x 5G comes in Pronto Purple and Marine Blue colours and is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, 8GB + 128GB costs Rs. 14,999 and the top-end 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 16,999.
It will be available through vivo.com, Flipkart and offline stores starting from March 12th.
