TECNO stood out on day 2 of MWC Barcelona 2025 during its AI Ecosystem Product Launch event. The company unveiled the CAMON 40 smartphone series, TECNO AI Glasses Pro, and the MEGABOOK S14 laptop, showcasing its focus on practical AI solutions.

CAMON 40 Series: A Leap in Smartphone Photography
Olivier Mas introduced the CAMON 40 Series, noting its strength in mobile imaging. The series includes One-Tap FlashSnap Mode and TECNO AI, improving snapshot speed and user experience. Mas said it combines hardware and software innovation. He added that partnerships help deliver cutting-edge AI solutions to emerging markets.
TECNO has partnered with MediaTek to establish a joint AI Laboratory focused on advancing AI technology. James Chen, Vice President of Product and Technology Marketing at MediaTek, said,

Matt Waldbusser, Managing Director of Global Solutions and Consumer AI at Google Cloud, commented on their collaboration. He stated,
Our collaboration with TECNO on the CAMON 40 Series is a standout example. Leveraging Google Cloud’s capabilities, we’ve introduced groundbreaking features such as Ask Ella, AI Image Generator, AI Writing, and AI Translate.
He highlighted that TECNO’s AI supports text translation in 136 languages, voice translation in 44 languages, and photo translation in 51 languages. “I am particularly impressed by the industry-leading and competitive edge of some of these innovations,” Waldbusser added.
He also expressed excitement about strengthening their partnership to bring practical AI to emerging markets conveniently and securely.
The One-Tap FlashSnap uses AI to speed up camera startup and continuous shooting for instant captures. AI-powered multi-frame processing reduces noise and enhances details. The BestMoment algorithm analyzes motion patterns to select optimal frames for precise, high-quality shots in dynamic scenes.
Frédéric Guichard, CEO of DXOMARK, evaluated the CAMON 40 Pro 5G. He said,
The CAMON 40 Pro 5G has demonstrated exceptional imaging and performance capabilities in our rigorous evaluations. We’ve been particularly impressed with photo performance being the best for devices under $600, and the 1st eligible device to our Smart Choice Label.
TECNO noted it achieved a 138 Overall Camera Score at DXOMARK. The device excels in “stunning portraits with natural and pleasant skin tone and strong low-light capabilities for night photography.”
Mas added that TECNO AI enhances the device with intelligent imaging, a 360° AI Call Assistant, and productivity tools for creativity and efficiency. Powered by MediaTek’s latest chipsets, it offers smooth performance, fast processing, and extended battery life. Its sleek, durable, water-resistant design balances style and practicality, he said.
MEGABOOK S14: Lightest 14-inch OLED Laptop
TECNO launched the MEGABOOK S14, the world’s lightest 14-inch OLED laptop, weighing just 899g (31.7oz). It features a 2.8K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon® X Elite compute platform, the flagship chipset for AI PCs.
The company said it integrates TECNO’s first self-developed edge-side large-scale AI model for enhanced multitasking. TECNO AI enhances the Ella AI Assistant and supports AI-powered PPT generation, image search, smart albums, and offline meeting transcription with multilingual capabilities.
An External Graphics Dock with an NVIDIA card boosts performance for design, gaming, and content creation. The laptop also includes DTS:X Ultra dual 2W speakers, Wi-Fi 6E, fingerprint login, and PC Manager for better connectivity and user experience.
Kedar Kondap, SVP & GM of Compute and Gaming at Qualcomm, discussed their partnership. He emphasized the integration of Qualcomm’s cutting-edge PC chipset into the MEGABOOK S14, aligning with TECNO’s vision for high-performance AI PCs.
TECNO also introduced the 999g (35.2oz) MEGABOOK T14 Air with high-speed storage and LPDDR5 memory. The ultra-thin, all-metal MEGABOOK K15S comes with a 70Wh battery and 65W PD GaN charger. Both devices feature AI tools like AI Album and AI Voice Assistant for versatile use.
TECNO AI Glasses: Smart Eyewear Redefined
The TECNO AI Glasses Series debuted with two models: TECNO AI Glasses in an aviator design and AI Glasses Pro in a browline style. Both include a 50MP high-definition camera with an OV50D sensor, a 100° ultra-wide-angle custom lens, and an AI ISP imaging chip.
These deliver high-resolution photos with advanced AI noise reduction and HDR. TECNO AI’s Ella provides real-time translation in over 100 languages, voice control, object recognition, and intelligent information summaries.
The AI Glasses Pro adds a MicroLED display with 7th-gen resin waveguide technology. It offers a 30° field of view and over 1,500 nits of brightness in a lightweight, ultra-thin AR design. This display supports translation, navigation, information prompts, and teleprompting.
With a 250mAh battery, the glasses deliver over 11 hours of music playback or 8 hours of mixed use after a 30-minute charge. They feature an ultra-linear speaker, bass enhancement, spatial sound, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4 for seamless connectivity.
