FoneArena – Best Products of MWC 2025

Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona concluded after four days of presentations, demonstrations, and showcasing the latest developments in the mobile technology sector. This year’s event featured a wide array of products and innovations, reflecting the industry’s ongoing evolution.

In recognition of the diverse innovations on display, FoneArena, celebrating its 20th anniversary, presented several awards to selected products and technologies.

HONOR

PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic7 RSR is the third collaboration between the global technology brand and the exclusive lifestyle brand, following the successful launches of the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic V2 RSR and Magic6 RSR.

The new device masterfully blends premium sports car-inspired design with state-of-the-art technology, demonstrating a powerful partnership committed to crafting groundbreaking products.

The HONOR Watch 5 Ultra introduced at the MWC has impressive features such as 1.5″ LTPO AMOLED screen, grade 5 titanium case, Sapphire Glass Protection and promises up to 15 days of battery life under typical usage. The watch also has 40m Free diving mode and 100+ Sports modes.

HUAWEI

HUAWEI Mate XT ULTIMATE DESIGN is the world’s first smartphone with a tri-fold screen in production, and it was recently introduced for the global markets. Despite the steep 3,499 Euro price tag, this one impressed us, and was one of the best products on the show floor this year.

Qualcomm

Qualcomm introduced the Qualcomm X85 5G Modem-RF, its eighth-generation 5G modem solution and its fourth generation incorporating artificial intelligence for connectivity.

This adds AI-Powered Data Traffic Engine offers better end user experience and performance including AI-enhanced, dynamic gaming traffic prioritization, AI-enhanced OTT calling for clearer voice and video calls and Smooth Wi-Fi Cellular transfer.

Nothing

Nothing introduced the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro, its mid-range smartphone lineup with triple-camera system, optical zoom, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, a brighter, more responsive display, and Nothing OS innovations like Essential Space in a refined design with a glass back.

Lenovo

Lenovo showed off Yoga Solar PC Concept that achieves a 24% conversion rate—one of the highest in the industry using Back Contact Cell technology, which shifts brackets and gridlines to the back for better sunlight absorption. In 20 minutes of direct sunlight, it generates power for up to one hour of video playback, according to the company.

TECNO

TECNO showed off its SPARK Slim concept phone with 5.75mm profile, yet packs a large, 5200mAh battery.

The phones features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D Curved AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 4500 nits, dual rear camera system of 50MP+50MP, a 13MP front camera, and an interactive light band for visual effects.

REDMAGIC

The REDMAGIC 10 Pro Golden Saga Limited Edition limited-edition was introduced for the global markets recently. This has exclusive elements like gold and silver into its 11- layer cooling structure, and also incorporates sapphire into its design, while retaining other specifications from the original REDMAGIC 10 Pro.

Xiaomi

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra flagship smartphone was introduced for the global markets at the MWC 2025, and the phone will launch in India on March 11th.

The company also introduced Xiaomi 15 Ultra Photography Kit Edition featuring an innovative removable shutter button, thumb rest, signature red decorative ring, a custom-designed UI under camera’s Fastshot mode, detachable thumb support and shutter buttons, a multifunctional 67mm filter adapter ring, and an integrated 2000mAh battery.

HMD

HMD Global introduced the Fusion X1 smartphone in partnership with Xplora, integrating operating system-level parental controls, accessed through the Xplora subscription, allowing for customizable app and internet access limitations. Parents can choose to block social media and internet browsing entirely, or implement specific limitations.

This also provides continuous location tracking at 20-second intervals with safe zone settings, an SOS emergency call function, low battery alerts, and remote device access for parents

TCL

TCL introduced the TCL 60 NXTPAPER that uses NXTPAPER technology at the MWC 2025. This features a 6.8-inch FHD+ display for comfortable viewing.

The NXTPAPER key activates Max Ink Mode, reducing eye fatigue during extended reading. It comes with dual speakers and DTS 3D boom sound, features 108MP rear camera, a 32MP front camera and a 5200mAh battery.

SATELLAI Tracker

SATELLAI made its European debut at MWC 2025 with the launch of the SATELLAI Tracker, the world’s first always-connected pet tracker powered by satellite technology. Designed for pet owners who explore off-the-grid locations, it ensures pets stay safe and connected anywhere on Earth.

It uses Qualcomm 9205S Modem andoperates via multiple satellite positioning systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS) and connects through 680+ networks in 180+ countries, offering pet owners pinpoint location tracking even in remote location by leveraging Skylo’s satellite communication service.

Mudita

Mudita Kompakt minimalist E Ink phone was showcased at the MWC 2025. This aims to promote a healthier relationship with technology by reducing distractions and focusing on essential features.

It features a 4.3-inch E Ink display, a custom operating system (Mudita OS K) that prioritizes privacy, and an “Offline+ Mode” that physically disconnects key components for enhanced privacy. The phone also features wireless charging, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Wi Charge

Wi-Charge, an Israeli company specializing in far-field wireless power transfer using focused infrared beams, demonstrated wireless power solutions for enhanced connectivity and sustainability at the MWC 2025.

BleeqUp Ranger AI sports glasses

The BleeqUp Ranger AI sports glasses is a 4-in-1 device designed primarily for cyclists. They integrate an action camera capable of recording 1080p video, open-ear headphones, and a walkie-talkie feature, all powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chipset.

The glasses offer AI-powered video editing, allowing users to create highlights from their rides with a single tap. They also provide UV400 protection, are IP54 water-resistant, and compatible with prescription lenses.
