Simple OneS with up to 181KM IDC range launched


Bengaluru-based start-up, Simple Energy, has launched its new OneS electric scooter after the launch of Simple One back in 2023, and the Simple One 1.5 was introduced last month.

It retains the patented PMSM motor with up to 8.5 KW peak / 4.5 KW continuous power and 72NM peak torque that can go from 0 to 40kmph in just 2.55 seconds in Sonic mode, which is 0.22 seconds quicker than the Dot One and One 1.5, and retains the same top speed of 105kmph.

The Simple OneS has smaller 3.7 kWh fixed battery that promises 181 KM range in IDC. It has a 7-inch touchscreen, a customizable interface, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, call & SMS alerts, over-the-air updates and ride telemetry.

The Simple OneS comes in Brazen Black, Azure Blue, Grace White and Namma Red and is priced at Rs 1,39,999 (ex-showroom). Pre-booking begins today, and it will be available across all 15 Simple Energy showrooms in Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Kochi, and Mangalore.

The company aims to expand its footprint across 23 states with 150 new stores and 200 service centers in the coming months.
