OPPO Find series head Zhou Yibao has posted the image of the camera sensors of the upcoming OPPO Find X8 Ultra smartphone. This shows five sensors for the phone for the first time.
“In order to take good portraits and good skin tones, we use a brand-new hardware,” he added. The hardware is expected to be a multi-spectral sensor for enhanced imaging and colour accuracy.
Based on earlier reports, the Find X8 Ultra is said to get a larger 50MP 1/1.56″ Sony IMX906 3X periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP 1/2″ Sony LYT-600 6x periscope telephoto camera, telephoto macro. It is said to retain the 50MP camera with 1″ Sony LYT-900 sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide camera from the Find X7 Ultra.
We can expect 6.82-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED 1-120Hz LTPO flat screen with ultra-narrow bezels, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage, and 6000mAh+ battery with 100W SuperVOOC wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
The phone is said to feature an 8.xxmm thickness for the leather option, come with IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and 0916 custom vibration motor.
The OPPO Find X8 Ultra will be introduced in April. OPPO is also expected to introduce Find X8 mini or the X8S alongside.
