POCO just announced the POCO F7 Ultra and F7 Pro smartphones at a global launch event in Singapore, as it had promised. The phones feature a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED flat screen with 1.9mm thin bottom bezels, up to 3200 nits peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate.
These have support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision, full brightness DC dimming, 2560Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and 12-bit 68.7 billion colors. The F7 Pro Ultra has an ultra-narrow bottom frame, 21% narrower than the previous generation. The phones feature ultrasonic fingerprint for the first time.
The F7 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with VisionBoost D7 dedicated graphics optimization chip for 120fps gaming, 2k super resolution, upgraded dual-channel IceLoop cooling system, and efficient temperature control. It has 5400mm² large cooling area, has up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
The phone has triple rear cameras with a 50MP 1/1.55″ Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS, Xiaomi AISP 2.0, 13.2EV movie-level high dynamic range, 32MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 2.5x telephoto camera with floating lens and 10cm macro option. There is Surge T1S signal enhancement chip for the first time for improved cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth performance, and the frame has 20% larger antenna area compared to the predecessor.
Both the phones feature a glass back and a metal frame. The F7 Ultra has a 5300mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging that can charge the phone up to 50% in 13 minutes, and also supports 50W wireless charging. The phones have IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The POCO F7 Pro gets a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, has up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. This has the same main camera with OIS, but has an 8MP ultra-wide camera and doesn’t have a telephoto camera. It has the same design, a bigger, 6000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, but lacks wireless charging.
The phones run Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 and will get 4 generations of OS updates and 6 years of security updates.

The POCO F7 Pro comes in Silver, Blue and Black colours and is priced at USD 499 (Rs. 42,820 approx.) for the 12GB+256GB model, and the 12GB + 512GB version costs USD 549 (Rs. 47,110 approx.) with early bird pricing at USD 449 and USD 499, respectively.
The POCO F7 Ultra comes in POCO Yellow and Black colours and is priced at USD 649 (Rs. 55,690 approx.) for the 12GB + 256GB model and the 16GB + 512GB model costs USD 699 (Rs. 59,980 approx.) with early bird pricing at USD 599 and USD 649, respectively.
