Amazfit Bip 6 with 1.97″ AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling, GPS, up to 14 days battery life announced


Amazfit has introduced Bip 6, the company’s latest smartwatch in the Bip series and the successor to Bip 5. This replaces the LCD screen in the Bip 5 with a larger 1.97″ AMOLED display with up to 2,000 nits peak brightness.

The Bip 6 comes with a sturdy aluminum alloy frame and has Bluetooth calling via the built-in microphone and speaker. The smartwatch also adds the Ambient light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment.

It has built-in GPS support, which now has support from five satellite systems. The smartwatch has 140+ sports modes including HYROX Race, Smart Strength Training, and Personalized AI Coaching, and promise up to 14 days of battery life. It gets 5 ATM (50 meters) water-resistance.

In the updated Zepp app, there is a new food log feature allowing users to photograph their meals directly in the app, automatically uploading nutrition data for seamless meal tracking. This feature is currently available in North America and will be available in selected European countries later this year, said the company.

Pricing and availability

The Amazfit Bip 6 comes in Black, Charcoal, Stone, and Red colours and is priced at USD 79.99 (Rs. 6,835 approx.) and is available from Amazfit.com and Amazon in the US.  No details about the India launch yet, but we can expect it soon.
