BenQ has introduced the W2720i, a home cinema projector featuring AI Cinema Mode, designed to enhance the home entertainment experience.
The W2720i comes with a 4LED (RGBB) light source, offering a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours. It allows projection of a 120-inch screen from just 2.7 meters, with a maximum screen size of 200 inches diagonal. Key installation features include 1.3x zoom, Auto Screen Fit, 8-point Corner Fit, and Vertical Lens Shift.
The projector delivers 2500 ANSI lumens of brightness and True 4K UHD resolution with 8.3 million pixels. BenQ’s CinematicColor technology (90% DCI-P3) reproduces colors accurately, while HDR-PRO enhances contrast to reveal details in bright and dark scenes. The Local Contrast Enhancer optimizes dynamic contrast in HDR10+ and HLG modes, with customizable viewing options like Filmmaker Mode and Cinema Mode.
The AI Cinema Mode uses integrated camera sensors for real-time ambient brightness adjustments and scene-specific enhancements. Built-in Android TV enables 4K streaming from platforms like Netflix and Disney+. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1 (4K 120 Hz), two HDMI 2.0b ports, SPDIF, and eARC for 7.1-channel sound with Dolby Atmos pass-through.
