Lava Bold 5G with 6.67″ FHD+ 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display, Dimensity 6300, 5000mAh battery launched


Lava just launched the Bold 5G, the company’s latest 5G smartphone, after the launch of Lava Shark budget phone recently. The phone has a 6.67″ 3D curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, which the company says is the first in the segment.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 8GB of virtual RAM. The phone runs Android 14 without any bloatware, and the company has confirmed Android 15 updates and 2 years of security updates for the phone.

It has a 64MP main camera with Sony sensor along with a secondary camera. There is a 16MP front camera. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The phone IP64 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Pricing and availability

The Lava Bold 5G comes in Sapphire Blue colour and is priced at Rs. 10,499, which the company says is the special launch price including all the offers for the 4GB + 128GB model. It also comes in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models. It will be available from April 8th at 12AM from Amazon.in.
