Amazon has launched Apple TV+ as an add-on subscription for Prime Video in India. This joins Prime Video India’s existing options, such as Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, BBC Player, MGM+, Sony Pictures – Stream, Anime Times, Crunchyroll, Animax+GEM, CN Rewind, FanCode, Channel K, Chaupal, Hoichoi, and Manorama Max, among others.
Kelly Day, Vice President of International at Prime Video, said the launch in India brings customers “an even greater selection of TV shows and films, all in one app experience.” She highlighted the convenience of accessing everything within the Prime Video app.
The company noted that Prime members subscribing to Apple TV+ can stream exclusive shows and movies, with new releases added weekly. This includes comedies like Ted Lasso and Shrinking, dramas such as Severance, The Morning Show, Slow Horses, and Disclaimer, and epic sci-fi like Silo. Hit movies like Wolfs and The Gorge are also available, along with other titles, the announcement added.
Gaurav Bhasin, Head of marketplace for add-on subscriptions and movie rentals at Prime Video India, said they’ve built the service as a “first-stop entertainment destination.” He emphasized it offers Indian and international originals, movies, and series, plus over 75,000 hours of additional content across genres through more than 25 Indian and international add-on subscription partners.

Pricing and Availability
Apple TV+ costs Rs. 99 per month in India for Prime members, with no extra apps needed beyond Prime Video. The subscription can be cancelled anytime.
The company also noted that Apple TV+ is available as an add-on via Prime Video in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and other territories in Europe and Latin America.
