After the details about the design and the battery that surfaced recently, the camera specifications of the Pixel 10 series have surfaced, thanks to Android Authority.
This reveals that the Pixel 10 will get a smaller 1/1.95″ Samsung GN8 50MP camera sensor, same as the one used in the Pixel 9a, instead of the 1/1.31″ 50MP Samsung GNV in the Pixel 9a.
There will also be changes in the ultra-wide camera, which is switching from a 50MP 1/2.51″ Sony IMX858 sensor to a 13MP 1/3.1″ Sony IMX712 sensor, according to the report. According to the report, the phone will add a 11MP telephoto camera with a 1/1.3″ Samsung 3J1 sensor, which was the sensor used for the front camera in the Pixel 9. The Pixel 10 will also use the same sensor for the front camera.
The Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL are said to get a new 50MP 1.31″ Samsung GNV sensor, while retaining 50MP 1/2.51″ Sony IMX858 sensor for the ultra-wide, telephoto and selfie cameras.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also said to use the 1/1.95″ Samsung GN8 50MP camera sensor as the Pixel 10, compared to a 48MP 1/2″ Sony IMX787 sensor, while retaining a similar ultra-wide camera and the front camera from the Pixel 9 Pro.

The phones are said to be powered by Tensor G5 3nm SoC made by TSMC PowerVR two-core IMG DXT-48-1536 GPU, 16GB of RAM and the company is said to be testing a MediaTek T900 modem for the chip. No details about the camera specs yet, but it could get a 4K 60fps HDR video support since the chip is expected to support it.
The Google Pixel 9 series were introduced in August last year, earlier than the usual Fall timeline, so this could be the case for Pixel 10 series as well since Android 16 is expected to arrive as early as June 2025.
