REDMAGIC 10 Air with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 7.85mm sleek design to be announced on April 16


Update: REDMAGIC has confirmed that the 10 Air will feature a 7.85mm body that will be easy to hold, especially when gaming with micro-arc middle frame and balanced weight.

The company has also confirmed that it will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and self-developed RedCore R3 gaming chip which was first introduced in the RedMagic 10 Pro series, offering super-resolution and super-frame concurrency.

Earlier this week, REDMAGIC confirmed the launch of REDMAGIC 10 Air smartphone in the REDMAGIC 10 series in China on April 16th. Today, the company has revealed the design of the phone in Shadow Black, Frost Blade White and Flame Orange colours.

The company says that the phone will be thin and strong and will be hard to put down. This product is positioned more youthfully, and is designed for the new generation of gamers, says Nubia’s CEO Ni Fei.

Based on rumours, the phone will feature a 6.8-inch (2480 x 1116 pixels) Full HD+ BOE OLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz refresh rate, and will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It is said to pack 50MP main + 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP front camera.

The phone is said to measure 164.3×76.6×7.85mm and weigh 205 grams, making it one of the thinnest and lightest phone in a range packing a huge, 6000mAh battery. It is expected to support 80W fast charging.
