Mivi has announced the development of Mivi AI, an artificial intelligence designed to interact with users in a human-like manner. The company stated that this AI focuses on integrating technology into daily life through personalized and meaningful interactions.

Unlike standard AI models that use basic question-and-answer formats, Mivi AI offers a conversational approach. It leverages advanced language models to maintain context and engage naturally, said the company. The AI debuts through Mivi AIBuds, a wearable device activated by saying “Hi Mivi” for hands-free use. These buds are the first in a planned ecosystem of smart devices.
Mivi highlighted that the AI was trained on thousands of voice samples to recognize a wide range of Indian accents, ensuring accessibility for diverse users. Mivi AI relies on three core technologies, according to the announcement:
- Natural Language Processing (NLP): This enables the AI to understand and respond to human language fluently.
- Emotional Intelligence: The AI detects emotional tones, making interactions feel more personal.
- Context Awareness: It recalls past conversations to keep discussions relevant and cohesive.
Conversations with Mivi AI are stored in the Mivi AI App, which builds a user profile based on preferences like favorite recipe styles or news genres. This allows the AI to tailor future interactions, noted the company. The AI can also return to the main topic seamlessly, even if the user shifts subjects. For instance, if discussing a recipe and then switching to news, the AI can resume the recipe’s next step without disruption.
Mivi emphasized that the AI prioritizes dynamic, human-like exchanges over rigid responses. It processes complex language, recognizes context, understands emotions, and adapts to various situations. The AIBuds enhance this with “Avatars,” virtual experts in specific topics that personalize suggestions as they learn user habits over time.

Mivi has not yet specified the launch date or availability of the AIBuds but noted that further updates will follow as development continues.
